Custom Metal Fabrication

One-off brackets, frames, and metal work built to your drawing or your problem. Bring a sketch, a photo, or just a description of what needs to exist, and we'll work out what it takes to build it.

What we build

If it's metal and it doesn't exist yet, it's probably a job for the shop. That includes:

How a custom job works

Send a photo of the space or the problem, with rough dimensions. You'll get a quote, and we confirm the design and dimensions with you in writing before starting. Custom work generally starts with a deposit, with the balance due on completion.

Steel, aluminum, stainless

Most custom work is steel, but the same shop handles aluminum, stainless, and copper. Every piece is welded by a certified welder: two 6G pipe qualifications, plus 3G and 4G plate at unlimited thickness. More on aluminum work ›

Topograin

Our signature pattern, built as wall art, railings, and gates. See the Topograin work ›

Common questions

What do I need to get a quote?

A photo of the space or the problem, rough dimensions, and what the piece needs to do. A sketch helps but isn't required. Most jobs start as someone describing the problem rather than handing over a drawing, and that's fine.

How long does a custom piece take?

Lead times are quoted per project and depend on size, complexity, and current workload. You'll get an honest estimate rather than an optimistic one.

What finish do pieces come in?

Most pieces are finished in raw steel with a clear sealer. Raw steel varies piece to piece and develops a patina over time, faster outdoors or in damp conditions. If you want a more stable finish, ask about powder coating before ordering.

Have something in mind? Send a photo and rough dimensions and we'll quote it.
